After spending her 20′s raising her son, a newly divorced, Jules tries to find the balance between having her 20′s in her 40′s, raising her son, dealing with her ex, running a business, and helping a host of other wonderful characters through their own trials.
Encouraged into action by her best friend Ellie Torres (Christina Miller) and her garish assistant, Laurie Keller (Busy Phillips), Jules enters back into the dating scene only to struggle with her ideas (and societies) about how to behave when you are 40 and single. The single-camera comedy comes from Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and co-executive producer Courteney Cox. Cougar Town is produced by ABC Studios.

While raising her 18-year old son, Jules jet sets for a journey to pumped-up self-esteem and self-discovery while taking time to chat and mingle with her fellow divorcees.
The term May-December affair is a bit archaic, move over and make way for Cougars, older women paired up with young men. Why not? Jules tries to relive her life as a young adult in her twenties and make up for the lost time that she never had while raising her child, by dating younger men. However, she comes to terms and ponders out the limitations of her age and strikes up relationships with men her age, later.
